Oakland Tea House Opens In Auburn Hills
Posted by – Elizabeth Brennan, Executive Assistant
A fun new tea house/restaurant is now open in Walton Village Plaza.
Sandor Pan and Chen Yu, Co-Owners of the new Oakland Tea House, opened their doors in late July to offer light oriental fare, bubble tea, smoothies and desserts.
If you aren’t familiar with bubble tea, it’s tea, mixed or shaken with fruit or milk and chewy tapioca balls or fruit jellies. They also offer smoothies in a variety of flavors including Coconut Coffee, Honey Dew, Mint Green Tea and Papaya.
A number of light meals are offered, including Braised Beef with Rice, Cold Noodles with Sesame Sauce and Chicken and Lamb and Chicken with barbecue sauce and vegetables; favorites of local college students and office workers.
